2008年はケガ？でまったく投げませんでしたが今Mexican Leagueで投げていて0.99 ERA、32/8 K/BB、36 1/3 inningsといい感じです。これがピックの要因だったんじゃないかと思う。


ドラフトではレッドソックスの選手は誰もピックされませんでしたがWes Littletonのトレード相手がBeau Vaughanになりました。
またAAA部門ではMiguel Marquezをシアトルから、Jason Riceをホワイトソックスから獲得。
